This website was designed as part of my grade 12 english research assigment. I chose workplace safety as my topic because I have been working construction for almost a year now. I have done both residential and commerical building and I have witnessed and been a part of some very unsafe projects. I have personaly shot my self with a air nailer ; put a three inch nail through my finger , fallen off roofs and worked in a very unsafe welding shop. Young Workers get hurt every day and I would like to bring awareness to unsafe situations.

WSIB (workplace Safety & Insurance Board ) has thousands of clams each year and almost all of them can be prevented if people take a little more care and thought into thier work habbits. It can take less than a minuite to tie off a ladder or scaffolding that can save you from years of learning to walk again.

Thier are lots of courses avaiable to help educate the workers in prevention and protection. Alot of them are becoming mandatory to take before being able to go to work.
